Ntseki Responds Defiantly to Broos’ Critique of Chiefs’ Players

In the wake of Hugo Broos’ recent comment that no Kaizer Chiefs player is currently up to par for the national team, Molefi Ntseki, the coach of Chiefs, has issued a resolute response.

Ntseki’s squad secured their second consecutive victory, defeating Stellenbosch FC 2-0 at Athlone Stadium, a triumph that propelled them to seven points on the league table.

Earlier in the week, Broos unveiled his Bafana Bafana squad for the forthcoming matches against Namibia and DR Congo in September. For the second consecutive selection, no players from Amakhosi made the cut in the Belgian tactician’s lineup.

When questioned about his decision to omit Chiefs players from the final 23-man Bafana squad, Broos firmly expressed that none of the current Glamour Boys deserved the call-up.

In response, Ntseki addressed Broos’ statement by emphasizing that while it’s the national team coach’s prerogative to make selections, the Chiefs’ players remain undeterred and are determined to prove their worth.

Molefi Ntseki Stands Firm as Chiefs Aim to Prove Their Quality

“It’s a decision by the national team coach,” Ntseki stated. “We can’t question him because we don’t know what he’s looking for in a player, as he’s never provided us with a template outlining the requirements for national team selection.”

He continued, “If he feels that our players don’t deserve to be on the national team, it’s just unfortunate. However, we are highly motivated to work tirelessly to demonstrate to everyone, not just Broos, that our team possesses remarkable quality.”

Ntseki’s unwavering response underscores the determination and commitment of the Chiefs’ squad to showcase their abilities on the field, regardless of external opinions.
